Dear Visitor,We have two excellent films for you to enjoy in November! On 3rd November we are screening a film that is very timely given current world events. GOLDA is a biopic ticking-clock thriller set during the tense 19 days of the Yom Kippur War in 1973. Israeli Prime Minister Golda Meir (Helen Mirren), faced with the potential of Israel's complete destruction, must navigate overwhelming odds, a skeptical cabinet, and a complex relationship with US Secretary of State Henry Kissinger (Liev Schreiber), with millions of lives in the balance. Her tough leadership and compassion would ultimately decide the fate of her nation and leave her with a controversial legacy around the world. Tickets are available to book online now. On Friday 17th November we will be screening the much awaited MISSION: IMPOSSIBLE DEAD RECKONING PART ONE - Ethan Hunt (Tom Cruise) and his IMF team embark on their most dangerous mission yet: To track down a terrifying new weapon that threatens all of humanity before it falls into the wrong hands. With control of the future and the fate of the world at stake, and dark forces from Ethan's past closing in, a deadly race around the globe begins. Confronted by a mysterious, all-powerful enemy, Ethan is forced to consider that nothing can matter more than his mission - not even the lives of those he cares about most. Starring Tom Cruise, Simon Pegg, Hayley Atwell, Esai Morales, and Vanessa Kirby. Tickets will be available to book online from Saturday 4th November. Our final film of the year will be on Friday 1st December - and at this time of writing it is likely to be DALILAND - based on the true story of surrealist painter Salvador Dalí and his tempestuous marriage to muse and wife Gala during the 1970s. Starring the superb Ben Kingsley as Dalí. LASTLY, we would like to give a very big THANK YOU and farewell to Christine Tebbot from the Cinema and Chiddingfold Village Hall.
