Dear Visitor,

We had an incredible evening on Friday 15th March when we screened the spectacular Bohemian Rhapsody to a full house!  Apologies to those we had to turn away and remember to avoid disappointment always purchase your tickets online www.chiddingfoldcinema.com/book-online or in person from Treacle's Tea Shop!

Our films for April begin on Friday 5th April with First Man (2018) -
A look at the life of the astronaut, Neil Armstrong (Ryan Gosling) and his wife Janet (Claire Foy) and the riveting story between the years of 1961-1969.  The film show the struggles and personal sacrifices made in order for the NASA mission to succeed and for him to become the first man to walk on the moon on 20th July, 1969.

A visceral, first-person account, based on the book by James R. Hansen, the movie will explore the sacrifices and the cost on Armstrong and on the nation of one of the most dangerous missions in history.

Our second April film Green Book (2018) is on Thursday 18th April
When Tony Lip (Viggo Mortensen), a bouncer from an Italian-American neighborhood in the Bronx, is hired to drive Dr. Don Shirley (Mahershala Ali), a world-class Black pianist, on a concert tour from Manhattan to the Deep South, they must rely on "The Green Book" to guide them to the few establishments that were then safe for African-Americans. Confronted with racism, danger, as well as unexpected humanity and humour, they are forced to set aside differences to survive and thrive on the journey of a lifetime.

One of the most powerful films of the year.  3 Oscar wins including Best Picture.
