Dear Visitor,The cinema will be screening Supernova on Friday 19th November - A romance and bitter sweet drama with plenty of humour and dry one liners, amongst the best works of Colin Firth and Stanley Tucci. Sam (Academy Award winner Colin Firth) and Tusker (Academy Award nominee Stanley Tucci), partners of twenty years, are traveling across England in their old camper van with their faithful dog ruby, visiting friends, family and places from their past. Since Tusker was diagnosed with early-onset dementia two years ago, their time together is the most important thing they have. A sincere and affecting portrait of two people stoically accepting mortality. Handsome cinematography by Dick Pope effectively contrasts the rolling vistas through which the camper van travels with the cramped intimacy of the couple’s relationship, with starscapes bookending the drama to lyrical effect. Starring Colin Firth, Stanely Tucci, James Drayfus, Pippa Haywood, Ian Drysdale & Sarah Woodward.  Rotten Tomatoes reviews: 89% positive.
