1864, and despite the Civil War raging around it a Virginia girl's school is still running, albeit with only five remaining students. When one of them stumbles upon a wounded Union soldier they decided to take him in. The arrival of a handsome male presence into the secluded boarding school causes excitement and mounting tension which threatens to go out of control.
